Ecuador Pacific coast
The Ecuadorian coast is formed by a wide plain region (100 to 200 Km) located between the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Andes to the east and includes a foothill zone with low mountains that range from 500 to 1,000 m above sea level. The soil here is relatively fertile and supports the production of major crops such as rice, bananas, palm oil and tropical fruits.
Machalilla National Park
The Machalilla National Park is located in the Manabí Province. Places of interest to visit in this area are the tropical dry forests, archaeological sites, spectacular beaches and also the "Isla de la Plata", where you can observe a number of species found in the Galapagos Archipelago. This is a great place for snorkeling. Also during the summer months (July – September) it is great place to enjoy whale watching trips to spot humpback whales.
Paragliding
Ecuador Nature Expeditions offers special trips where you can learn to paraglide on one of the most beautiful and safe beaches in our country.
